Who Is Shaun Black?

Hailing from the Yarra Valley in Melbourne, Shaun Black’s influences include Paul Kelly, INXS, Dan Sultan, Jake Bugg, DMA’s and Matchbox 20. His debut album ‘Refraction’ (2016) is a collection of Aussie acoustic rock that takes you on a very real, down to earth journey. The album has tracks ranging from rock, roots, reggae, country, pop and blues-rock.

Shaun released his debut album, which sold approximately 1000 hard copies and played ‘A Day On The Green’ in March 2016, where he supported Rob Thomas, Pete Murray and Darren Middleton. Since then he has toured regional South Australia, played regular gigs in Melbourne, and has been busy writing for his next releases.

Shaun is looking to build on his solid fan-base around his hometown in Melbourne, and continue building his audience and professional partnerships within the local music industry.
